Utah Families Feeding Families, a distinguished 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating under section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code, is dedicated to providing targeted financial assistance to families facing hardships. Our mission addresses essential needs such as utilities, rent, and food for individuals caught in the challenging position of earning too much to qualify for government assistance but still requiring vital financial support.

Our unique approach tailor’s assistance to each individual situation, ensuring decisions are made on an individual basis for the most effective and impactful outcomes. Annually, we host a back-to-school event providing children with crucial supplies like backpacks, school materials, clothing, and new shoes. This event goes beyond material support, incorporating a communal breakfast and offering families the opportunity to receive complimentary haircuts. A standout initiative is our Christmas program, specifically designed to aid families who may not qualify for other holiday aid programs. For each sponsored family, we ensure every child receives thoughtful gifts, the family obtains a grocery store gift card, our teenagers receive a fast-food gift card, and each child receives a box of cereal. This process involves a meticulous application and vetting system. The children's "wish list" is then uploaded to our sponsor sign-up, allowing community members to select a child they wish to shop for. Gifts are dropped off at Utah Families Feeding Families, fondly referred to as Santa's Workshop, where we review them to ensure equal representation for each child. The culmination of this program is a community-wide wrapping party where local members generously contribute their time and effort to wrap the donated gifts.

In addition to our core mission, Utah Families Feeding Families extends its impact through porch pantries across the valley. These serve individuals in need, offering essential food support to help them bridge the gap until their next paycheck.
